September 2016 – Alice and agroforestry

Alice poulets

When agroforestry is funding reforestation, it’s not a dream it’s a reality!

The slogan put down roots, after the collaboration with the brasserie “Les Trois Dames” with the creation of the 6 pack beers which reforest, the multinational Leader Price Madagascar follow in its footsteps by helping the reforestation in the Big Island. Therefore, with the sales of free range chickens raised by local farmers, Leader Price commits environmentally. Les Poulets d’Alice are raised in accordance to the Label Rouge criteria and create a modest margin to replant trees “1 chicken sold = 1 tree planted”! Even the regional best restaurants unite to this action “1 chicken consumed = 1 tree planted”.

The story of Alice and her chickens which reforest starts with a favourite for agroforestry, Alice associated her name to the chicken quality. Even more, she manages the production, once again Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne leads to everything!
