Agroforestry activities are developing appreciably, with a marked interest by farmers in obtaining additional income and an expanded diet.

This year, in addition to intensive rice farming (IRS), harvesting Black Eyes or white beans has been modest, only a few tonnes per hectare. Usually it is a production of 4 to 5 t / ha, the lack of water is evident.

This legume is very rich nutritionally, once dried and well sorted it can be sold in local markets at a good price. With a very good quality it can even be exported. But the immediate goal is not yet achieved as we remain in the context of an organic culture that requires special care.
